John purchased Hume Auctioneers in 1999. John comes from a well-known Portlaoise business family. Having spent almost five years in Waterford with leading commercial auctioneers Purcell Properties, and a period before that with Dublin firm, Mason Estates, he returned home in 1999 with vast experience bringing many new ideas and features never seen before in the midlands.
John is a qualified member of the IAVI and on passing his direct final examinations with the Society of Chartered Surveyors, he became one of the highest qualified practicioners in the land.
