The uniqueness of Yew Tree Lodge is very much amazing. The property is recorded back in history as far as 1650. To have a property of this type in a super location, and in the turn key condition the property is in, is extremely rare. Living in a property of this type is a privilege, experiencing the character and features of this property on a daily basis is a phenomenal thought. The property obviously has changed over the 370 years its standing and each period of architecture has left its mark. I personally have never seen a property with so much character and so much care given to maintain the correctness of the property. The entrance hall gives access to the parlour and an extremely handsome room of perfect proportions. A large wood burning stove is fitted in the antique fire place and the original shutters, pitch pine floors and ceiling coving are all original. Newly laid ceramic tiles, contrast beautifully with fitted units and splashback. The original oak stairs is still in situ. Unbelievable that this stairs is still there and the width and slow risers of the stairs, creates a lovely staircase to climb. The windows on the first floor landing create a lovely bright space. The main bathroom is a magnificent space. High ceilings, windows shutters, original floors, ceiling covings, its just a pure class space.
